Platonic.... relationship

Jiang Xu suddenly opened his eyes and saw Shen Fangyu’s teasing smile, and when he looked over, Shen Fangyu backed away slightly.

Just as Jiang Xu thought he was going to lie back down, Shen Fangyu suddenly placed his index finger on Jiang Xu’s lips, silencing him.

“Shh, don’t make a sound, let me kiss you.”

The slightly cool fingertips rubbed against his warm lips. Due to intoxication, Shen Fangyu’s gaze seemed a bit unfocused, but it remained fixed on Jiang Xu’s face and Jiang Xu felt his face grow inexplicably warm under his gaze.

The faint sound of fabric rubbing against skin seemed especially clear in the quiet bedroom, combined with Shen Fangyu’s overly affectionate gaze, it seemed to have a subtle meaning.

Like a gentle caress of the ear and cheek.

Jiang Xu calmly swallowed his saliva, feeling as if his chest was submerged in hot spring water, the humid steam rising against the skin of his neck, making it difficult to catch his breath.

He placed his hand on Shen Fangyu’s chest, adjusting his breathing like a drowning fish.

But he forgot that Shen Fangyu’s fingers were pressed against his lips, and every breath would fall on Shen Fangyu’s fingertips, gradually moistening the fingers with water vapor.

Due to their posture, the connection between Jiang Xu’s shurt and pants exposed a small section of his waist.

It was unclear whether it was premeditated or spontaneous, but Shen Fangyu suddenly placed his hand on it.

His knuckled hand suddenly pressed against his skin, and Jiang Xu let out a shallow gasp, subconsciously parting his lips. Shen Fangyu took advantage of this momentary slack in defense to press closer and kiss him passionately.

Jiang Xu’s lips, which were rubbed red by Shen Fangyu’s fingers, were exceptionally soft at this moment, with a sweet tongue and a scorching temperature, like enticing chocolate.

One hand was placed on Jiang Xu’s waist, and the other hand propped up his head by the ear. He held Jiang Xu in his embrace, leaning down to kiss his lips passionately.

Jiang Xu’s heart was beating fast, and he tightly gripped at the clothes on Shen Fangyu’s chest.

Kisses can convey many emotions.

He could feel that Shen Fangyu’s kiss today was different from the previous ones, with a hint of unfamiliar boldness, like burning charcoal.

From the nose to the eyebrows, the ears, and then lightly nibbling at his neck, the cold, white skin was gradually stained red by the kisses.

It made people not want to indulge, but willingly sink into it.

Shen Fangyu’s palm was hot as it slid down his waist, the temperature so clear that he could feel his palm print.

The surging hormones, combined with the sweet aroma of red wine between Shen Fangyu’s lips and teeth, were like wine-soaked grapes stirring up the moon brewing in the water.

Jiang Xu curled his toes and instinctively grabbed Shen Fangyu’s hand.

The clouds in the sky slowly overlapped and separated again, and the two slightly damp hands pressed against each other under the warm quilt. The flowers bloomed along the path, but eventually stopped spreading when they touched the fence.

Jiang Xu lowered his eyes, waiting for Shen Fangyu to retract his hand on his own.

But the flowers bloomed in the opposite direction.

“Don’t be nervous,” Shen Fangyu said, his breath emitting a shallow heat. “Teach me, what does Dr. Jiang usually do?”

Jiang Xu tilted his chin up, glaring at Shen Fangyu, but his eye corners were tinged with a seductive red. “Do you want… do you not care about… face?”

Drunken people don’t have much logic in their words or actions, naturally they don’t care about their face.

Shen Fangyu lazily explained to him, “I want to help you relax.”

Jiang Xu’s forehead broke out in a fine sweat, and he asked hoarsely, “Platonic…relationship?”

“I can be platonic, you don’t have to be,” Shen Fangyu chuckled softly in his ear, teasing him on purpose, “if you also want to be platonic, you can tell me to stop now.”

Shen Fangyu had learned singing and was skilled in how to use his voice.

Jiang Xu’s ears tingled with numbness from the light laughter, and his heart was also itching.

Drunk Shen Fangyu was a bit unfamiliar and unreasonable, saying anything shameless.

But unexpectedly, it was also alluring.

After a while, he lowered his head and lightly bit Shen Fangyu’s Adam’s apple, giving him permission to continue.

With Jiang Xu’s permission, a smile appeared on Shen Fangyu’s lips, and he reminded him casually, “Remember to keep your voice down later. She’s probably asleep by now. Don’t wake her up.”

After a while, he looked at Jiang Xu, who was almost irritated by him, and added, “If you can’t help but make a sound, bite my shoulder.”

Even though they were on their own bed, Shen Fangyu insisted on mentioning a third person. Jiang Xu glanced at him with a bit of annoyance, but before that glance could release too much intimidation, it disappeared into the lingering night.

The neon lights outside the window were as bright as the eyes of a lover, the night breeze was cool, and the bedding was soft and warm.

The bed was really more suitable for indulgence than the backseat of a car, and Shen Fangyu’s performance was still excellent. The pink rabbit somehow ended up head down under the bed at some point, but its owner apparently had no time to care for it.

“Jiang Xu.” Shen Fangyu pulled out his hand, looked at Jiang Xu half-lying on the pillow with a half-opened mouth and unsteady breathing. He lowered his head, and lightly kissed his cheek. “Are you okay?”

Jiang Xu’s neck was exposed to the air, revealing a moist and red side neck.

Jiang Xu turned his head to the side to cool his face against the pillow, not responding.

“Now I believe that you really don’t watch porn,” Shen Fangyu chuckled and ruffled his hair. He crumpled the tissue into a ball and threw it into the trash can, and massaged his shoulder lightly.

His shoulder was almost bitten bloody.

Sensing his movements, Jiang Xu’s gaze flickered.

Taking advantage of the situation, Shen Fangyu leaned in and acted spoiled, “It hurts too much, give me a kiss.”

“Mm.”

At this moment, Jiang Xu seemed particularly easy to get along with. His expression was relaxed, his voice was soft, and he used an airy tone as if he was really worried about waking someone up.

He sat up and went to look at Shen Fangyu’s shoulder, but couldn’t see it because his collar was too tight, so Jiang Xu had to unbutton the collar.

Shen Fangyu lowered his head to look at him, and Jiang Xu kept his eyes down, looking seriously at his buttons.

Because his skin was too fair, any emotional fluctuations would make his eyes slightly red, and the mole under his eye appeared even more vivid because of it, like a layer of colorful rays of light covering the cold snow mountain.

For some reason, Shen Fangyu suddenly felt that the scene of Jiang Xu unbuttoning him was very familiar.

There was a flash of light, and his brain suddenly squeezed in a flood of memories that had been sealed away by fake alcohol for a long time.

The man had long, slender legs, and the lines of his shoulders and collarbone were clearly visible under the light. His jawline had a sharp contour, and a black tie covered his eyes, making his face look even fairer.

Shen Fangyu couldn’t control the urgency of his movements, and Jiang Xu challenged him from the bed, every word and sentence intimidating: “Are you… out of energy?”

Shen Fangyu obviously refused to show weakness, “You’re the one… out of energy!”

“Shen Fangyu… with your stamina… you still want to mess with me?” Jiang Xu directly provoked, “…you can’t do it.”

Shen Fangyu, who was drunk, immediately became agitated. He lifted Jiang Xu up from the bed and said defiantly, “Say it again, that I can’t do it?”

Suddenly losing his support, Jiang Xu was startled and abruptly hugged Shen Fangyu’s neck, biting his lip to swallow the sound that almost slipped out.

“You fucker… put me… down.”

He was furious, as if he was about to hit someone in the next second.

Shen Fangyu, on the other hand, held a grudge and insisted on proving his stamina by hugging him and refusing to let go no matter what he said.

Jiang Xu’s legs were immobilized, and the impending sense of falling made him tightly clutch Shen Fangyu’s clothes to prevent himself from falling.

With this tight grip, Jiang Xu suddenly realized something. He gritted his teeth and pulled down the tie that covered his eyes, saying to Shen Fangyu, “You fucker… you undressed me… but you won’t undress yourself?”

After saying that, the drunk man didn’t care about anything else and reached out to unbutton Shen Fangyu’s shirt.

The fight started inexplicably, but it quickly became heated.

Although their eyes were red and their hands were unsteady from the alcohol, they occasionally had to stop their actions because of lack they were muddled, but it didn’t hinder Jiang Xu’s determination to settle the score with Shen Fangyu.

As a result, Shen Fangyu’s peacock-like shirt was torn off by the resolute Jiang Xu.

Shen Fangyu, who regained his memories, sighed silently: Jiang Xu’s temper has really improved a lot during this time.

In the bedroom, Jiang Xu saw that Shen Fangyu suddenly seemed to remember something, and his expression became complicated and subtle.

So he stopped his hands and asked, “What’s wrong?”

Shen Fangyu cleared his throat and felt embarrassed to look at Jiang Xu.

This test was really too challenging for him.

Now, every time he closed his eyes, he could see Jiang Xu’s sharp and alluring appearance.

When Jiang Xu glared at him with slightly red eyes, it was like a red rose covered in thorns.

Jiang Xu slowly realized what was going on. He lowered his head, and glanced at Shen Fangyu.

“You…”

“I… need to go handle something.”

Shen Fangyu tried to suppress the excessive alcohol in his system, and without even looking back, walked towards the bathroom.

However, as soon as he opened the shower, Jiang Xu suddenly opened the door.

The impolite Mr. Jiang and the even more impolite Mr. Shen stared at each other unexpectedly, and the air seemed to freeze for a moment.

The bathroom was brightly lit, with the mirror covered in blurred water vapor. The man’s wet hair and eyes looed even more black, as if covered in a thin mist.

The moisture fell on Jiang Xu’s face, and the faint fragrance of red wine lingered with his breath.

The top-grade red wine sent by Huo Chengchun was indeed rich and charming. Jiang Xu felt like it was nit just Shen Fangyu who was drunk, but even him.

……..

When Shen Fangyu opened the window to get some fresh air, his steps were a bit unsteady.

He leaned against the door frame and watched Jiang Xu washing his hands. The delicate stream of water rinsed his well-defined fingers, and the protrusion of his wrist bone was clearly visible.

The stickiness gradually dissipated, washed away by the flowing water, but Shen Fangyu’s heart was burning with anxiety.

He drew a big heart on the foggy mirror in front of the sink, enclosing Jiang Xu’s face inside. Unfortunately, Jiang Xu refused to acknowledge him and turned his face away in anger.

Shen Fangyu pursed his lips, pulled Jiang Xu’s clothes, and apologized to the person he had angered: “You’re too good-looking, I couldn’t control myself.”

Jiang Xu glanced at him, knowing that Shen Fangyu deliberately didn’t warn him in advance and deliberately made his hands wet.

“You go out,” Jiang Xu wiped his hands with a towel and pushed Shen Fangyu out. “I’m going to take a bath and sleep.”

“Oh…” Shen Fangyu stared at the closed door for a while before swallowing the words “Do you want to take a bath together?” and changed it to: “Then I’ll take a bath later too.”

The moon rose to the zenith, and the tree branches cast dark shadows. Despite the desolate winter scenery of City A, the indoors were warm as if it were March, with the colors of spring. It felt as if a seed of a flower tree was planted today and it would bloom into a magnificent cherry blossom next year.

Half awake and half asleep, Jiang Xu, who had taken three baths in one night, was exhausted and nestled in the arms of his lover, feeling tired but at ease.

Perhaps because Shen Fangyu had taken one less bath than him, he was quite awake at the moment.

He gently nuzzled against Jiang Xu’s neck, kissed his feathery eyelashes, and the corner of his mouth that was lifted with a smile.

Jiang Xu pushed him away, but Shen Fangyu grasped his hand with all ten fingers intertwined.

“I have something to tell you.”

“Tomorrow,” Jiang Xu could hardly keep his eyes open.

Shen Fangyu was persistent, “I have to tell you today.”

Jiang Xu couldn’t resist him, so he reluctantly lifted his eyelids and prepared to listen to Shen Fangyu’s important words that couldn’t be delayed for even half a second.

The soft quilt buried them inside, comfortable and dry.

Suddenly, Shen Fangyu hugged him, pressed against his ear, and made up for the missed words of endearment for tonight:

“Jiang Xu, do you want to change ‘partner’ to ‘husband’?”

Bfr, you people being angry at “so M country’s doctors are horrible and Z country’s are perfect” (ignoring that they only introduced 1 doctor for M country and the existence of Huang Bin the absolute scum). If you want to equate M country’s medical community to the behaviour of an obvious antagonist in a fiction novel, go ahead, I’m not the one to stop you from insulting yourselves. This is a barely serious novel ffs (only tied to reality due to the authors research on medicine), with easy to distinguish character roles, not some in depth odyssey full of symbolism.

The author is a common person, with their own knowledge, values and ideas as any other ordinary person. You often hear about how terrible “communist” China is (they are now socialist fyi, tho capitalism has also a place there), now imagine the Chinese hearing about gun violence, corruption and nepotism, same old tale, but are they lies? (Do some self reflection). No government is truly good to their people nowadays, and no person is perfect. This novel is barely 100 chapters, some people praised the author for solving conflicts in the story quickly but that’s also a reason why things aren’t talked in depth, they touched many topics but did it superficially (like Ma Hao, the girls, the women’s hel association, etc, they are valuable to mention but weren’t truly fleshed out). The author is writing things superficially, the good guy, the bad guy, the support, the common story structure for a web novel, yet you are expecting a whole scientific paper with sources from a leisure novel that may not even be their magnum opus. Let alone the novel’s target audience wasn’t the Americans

True. M country sounds a lot like mine, and I’m not even offended, but since my country’s native language isn’t English (we have tens of languages and hundreds of dialects), it could have been any country.
