HS Chapter 118

Skin Hunger 33

Yan Ji was someone with a very agile mind, and at the same time, his execution was also far ahead of others. Compared to some sentinels who said one thing and meant another, who acted contrary to their hearts, he had already surpassed them by a lot.

When Xin Hexue agreed to holding hands, he immediately went for hugs and touches. When Xin Hexue said hugging was okay, he pounced to kiss and lick. And when kissing was allowed, that meant he could try negative distance intimacy.

Because he found that if he directly asked for Xin Hexue’s opinion, the thin-skinned young guide would only purse his lips and say “don’t”. But when Yan Ji chose to act directly, as long as he didn’t go too far, Xin Hexue wouldn’t really get angry.

Therefore, Yan Ji always sought to gain more advantage and always took advantage of others.

“Don’t bite…”

Xin Hexue inserted his fingers into the sentinel’s short hair. Yan Ji’s hair wasn’t soft, just like his overall appearance. When he wasn’t talking or making any expressions, his brows and eyes carried a wild, cold sharpness. He had gotten a haircut a few days ago, and now the short choppy strands scratched between Xin Hexue’s fingers like coarse green stubble.

His fragile Adam’s apple was being pressed by canine teeth. Even though the pressure had eased up, it was still an unpleasant grind. Xin Hexue’s slender knuckles curled up uncontrollably, and the bristly strands tickled between his fingers.

His neck tilted back, and transparent tears spilled from his flushed eyes, silently sliding down his cheeks.

The inescapable, all-encompassing pleasure flooded him like a rising tide on a midnight beach.

And with the tide came all sorts of floating marine debris like fragments of ocean creatures and bits of seaweed…the beach a complete mess, just like Xin Hexue’s senses at this moment.

‘Why… did I agree to let Yan Ji into my bedroom…’

Xin Hexue thought in a daze.

He remembered…was it the day before yesterday, or the day before that?

The night was supposed to be just for sleeping. But after Yan Ji begged him repeatedly, Xin Hexue relented. Still, he really shouldn’t have placed any hopes or fantasies on a virgin’s skills.

Terrible.

Very terrible.

So terrible that the next day Yan Ji had a slap mark on his face, and before he even got dressed, was coldly kicked out by Xin Hexue.

“I was just nervous last time and didn’t perform well,”

Yan Ji said I’m a hoarse voice.

He had clearly done a lot of homework, but it seemed like he still hurt Xin Hexue.

So this time, having learned from experience, Yan Ji dragged out the foreplay much longer.

He was going to do better than He Botian!

Yan Ji gritted his teeth.

He would not allow Xin Hexue to think of another man when doing it with him!

His canine teeth pressed lightly on Xin Hexue’s Adam’s apple. The muscular lines of his back hovered over the young man. Most of the light was blocked after passing through his broad shoulders and a heavy shadow covered Xin Hexue.

At this moment, the sentinel overlapped with his mental body, and as he loomed over Xin Hexue, he looked like a beast poised to attack.

He kissed Xin Hexue’s beautifully shaped jaw, then moved on to suck the small earlobe between black hair and snow-white skin.

Yan Ji had no concept of skin hunger disorder before. He barely knew anything about it. It was not until he met Xin Hexue that he realized some people could be so sensitive to touch.

Even with such a simple kiss, the small and delicate earlobe caused it to flush a shade of ambiguous red. But it wasn’t the messy, ugly kind of allergic reaction. It was a faint pink that made the heart itch.

“Ah Xue…”

“Can I call you that?”

Xin Hexue leaned his head back slightly, even if he had nowhere to escape. His neck was dotted with red marks from Yan Ji’s bites, and his voice trembled as he spoke, “Disrespectful…”

“It’s just a three year age difference.”

Yan Ji grinned, flashing his canine teeth. Xin Hexue saw those white teeth, and the overwhelming pleasure from earlier, caused by the rough grinding of his secondary gender traits, was now etched deeply into his memory. His whole body even twitched instinctively.

Maybe Xin Hexue’s skin was too thin. Just a round of kissing had brought a faint red to his earlobes, with tiny capillaries showing beneath the skin.

“So tender…”

Yan Ji muttered, clicked his tongue, and let that spot go.

He shifted from leaning over Xin Hexue to kneeling, lowering his head with an earnest look.

The tense muscles in his forearms clearly showed the storm he was holding back. His hot palms wrapped around Xin Hexue’s ankle, and those long legs were draped across the sentinel’s shoulders without resistance.

Xin Hexue had put on a loose bathrobe after showering. Although the sash was tied, it might as well have not been. Half of his fair chest was exposed from the disheveled robe, and with his legs forced up on Yan Ji’s shoulders, everything was in full view from Yan Ji’s perspective.

But Yan Ji deliberately didn’t untie the troublesome sash.

He looked at Xin Hexue’s face buried deep into the pillow.

He discovered that, in this half-hidden, half-exposed state, Xin Hexue was even more reactive than usual.

Maybe being disheveled was an especially stimulating challenge for this always-proper young major general.

Noticing his gaze, Xin Hexue’s eyes flushed red at the corners. He shot him an embarrassed, angry glance and urged, “…hurry up.”

Yan Ji’s Adam’s apple rolled slightly. His tongue pressed against the roof of his mouth, and his voice was muffled. “Yes.”

He bent down, the coarse ends of his short hair brushing against the inside of Xin Hexue’s thigh.

Xin Hexue silently loosened the grip he had on the pillowcase, and a faint breath escaped from his throat.

“Mm…”

No wonder…

The trash bin in the villa had been full of knotted cherry stems these past few days.

Xin Hexue stared at the blank ceiling, his dizzy mind slowly making the connection.

A tingling current ran up his spine. Supporting himself with his shoulders and neck, he lifted his waist slightly along with his chest, and the curve of his body was as beautiful as a crescent moon.

“Ah Xue, Ah Xue, Ah Xue” The young sentinel was particularly obnoxious in this regard, repeatedly calling out the nickname Xin Hexue said was disrespectful. He was so noisy that Xin Hexue had to tell him to shut up.

Yan Ji: “I won’t.”

He thought of something and laughed even more arrogantly.

He leaned into the crook of Xin Hexue’s neck, and while the other party was still trembling from the lingering pleasure, said mischievously, “If you don’t want me to call you Ah Xue, then which one do you prefer to hear?”

“Sir?” Yan Ji chuckled softly. His palm slid under Xin Hexue’s back, gliding down the groove of his spine. He could clearly feel the trembling, as if it came straight from the bones and passed through the thin layer of skin. His gaze scanned him, his eyes growing darker. “Or… Teacher?”

He saw Xin Hexue’s pupils dilate slightly from the stimulation.

‘So cute.’

Yan Ji almost wanted to tie him to his belt or stuff him into his pocket.

He lowered his head again.

But Xin Hexue raised a leg and kicked him in the shoulder. Fortunately, Yan Ji was strong and didn’t move an inch.

He just looked up, and asked curiously. “Hm?”

Xin Hexue’s tightly pressed lips loosened, leaving a faint white mark from the bite. “That’s enough.”

Yan Ji acted like he didn’t hear it. Three fingers sank into the warm, soft flesh, found a spot and pressed it.

Xin Hexue let out a muffled groan. Like a cat with its fur standing on end, the force of his foot pressing on Yan Ji’s shoulder increased, but his toes curled up.

His voice came out in broken fragments. “I said… that’s enough!”

Yan Ji replied in a low, serious tone, “Not yet. You’ll get hurt.”

That first time, he had rushed everything right after slipping in three fingers, making Xin Hexue very uncomfortable.

This time, Yan Ji wanted to do it properly. Like a high school student taking the college entrance exam, he couldn’t skip a single step, determined to fill in every answer on the sheet.

The Major General, however, gave him a hard kick.

Xin Hexue’s face was cold, and physiological tears spilled from the corners of his eyes, leaving translucent streaks. Under the light, he was breathtakingly beautiful.

He gave the order expressionlessly. “Either get in, or get out.”

His finger pointed toward the bedroom door.

Yan Ji felt like his heart was a mutated bull, crashing violently against his ribcage.

“Yes, Sir.”

His voice was horribly low and hoarse.

………

When Xin Hexue woke up, the sentinel, knowing full well that he was in great trouble, was trying to earn forgiveness with a morning kiss.

Xin Hexue pushed him away with a slap. “…Get lost.”

The slap was soft, not loud, just pressed against his face.

Yan Ji confirmed Xin Hexue wasn’t truly angry, so he sneaked a kiss onto cheek with a big grin and happily checked himself in the mirror.

There was a full-length mirror in the corner of the bedroom. Xin Hexue had wanted to smash it when the vines had him tied up facing it. But too many things had happened after that, so he forgot.

Now, seeing Yan Ji standing in front of the mirror in just his underwear, happily admiring his back, the bad memories resurfaced and Xin Hexue closed his eyes in disgust.

When he opened them again, he asked with a slightly impatient tone, “What are you doing?”

As a 3S-level sentinel, Yan Ji’s physique was proof of both his talent and effort. He had broad shoulders, a narrow waist, firm thighs, and a sturdy frame with clear and sharp lines.

On his muscular back were numerous visible scratch marks, crisscrossing over each other, with deep and shallow bite marks on his shoulders.

Yan Ji was observing these marks in the mirror.

He clicked his tongue in delight, turned to Xin Hexue, and asked, “Doesn’t it look good?”

Xin Hexue couldn’t understand his train of thought. It was as if Yan Ji saw these marks as some kind of medal that only the sentinel among sentinels could earn.

“…It looks ugly.”

Yan Ji glanced back again. “I think it looks great. You scratched me perfectly.”

Xin Hexue couldn’t bear to watch. “Put your clothes on. We’re going out today.”

Yan Ji took the clothes Xin Hexue threw at him.

He dressed slowly, like he wanted to tear the pants into four parts just to delay, and looked at his back a few more times with reluctance.

Cats’ way of showing love was with scratch marks and bites.

What a coincidence. So was his boyfriend’s.

Yan Ji giggled to himself.

…………

The “going out” Xin Hexue referred to was to prepare for the Four-Sector Border Summit that Wei Zhuo had mentioned earlier.

Although it was labeled as a strategic deployment meeting between the Four-Sector Border and the Central Military District, for high-level guides and frontline sentinels like them, they only participated in the year-end summary and outlook sessions. The real discussions were left to those commanders and political leaders in the strategic command rooms.

Wei Zhuo and Xin Hexue were mainly involved in the earlier banquet.

Even so, a brand-new suit still had to be custom-made for attending the formal event.

Inside the handmade suit store.

Yan Ji watched the designer’s series of actions with dissatisfaction, his gaze so piercing the other party couldn’t ignore it.

Xin Hexue noticed the designer’s expression growing increasingly stiff under Yan Ji’s stare, and finally couldn’t help but speak in a gentle tone. “Please wait a moment.”

He stepped past the designer, pulled Yan Ji aside and asked in a lower voice. “What’s wrong with you?”

Yan Ji’s jaw tensed in silence. After a moment, he said, “He touched your waist.”

Xin Hexue: “…He was just measuring.”

What kind of messy verb was that coming from Yan Ji’s mouth? The designer was simply taking a standard waist measurement, wrapping the tape measure around the narrowest part of the waist.

But the sentinel had no intention of admitting he was being irrationally jealous.

He stood there with a stiff expression, like a weather-beaten stone waiting for his wife.

Xin Hexue simply said, “Let’s get one made for you too.”

Yan Ji was stunned for a moment. “No need, I wasn’t even invited.”

He had not yet graduated. No matter how talented, he has only just begun earning military merit, what formal occasion would invite him?

Yan Ji indeed had an unspoken inferiority in this area, and even he felt it was a bit petty.

But honestly, his boyfriend was the Empire’s only 3S-level guide, a major general, dazzling like a beautiful moon. It was impossible for Yan Ji to say he didn’t feel any pressure.

But he would just digest this pressure himself and turn it into motivation. There was no way he’d let a difference in status affect his relationship with Xin Hexue. If anything, those external factors only made Yan Ji fight harder.

Xin Hexue had already discussed it with the designer and decided both of them would get custom-made suits.

Yan Ji had heard of this famous handmade suit brand in the capital. Thinking of those astronomical prices with endless zeroes, his head throbbed. “I don’t need one. I don’t even have a place to wear it.”

Compared to flashy, impractical suits, he preferred combat uniforms that were durable and easy to move in.

Xin Hexue glanced at him, and the light glance instantly shut him up.

Between his fingers was a black card, gleaming with a cold metallic shine. Xin Hexue smiled faintly. “I’ll pay.”

To Xin Hexue, price was just a meaningless number. The cost of two suits didn’t even make him blink.

He made the offer just to shut Yan Ji up, so the sentinel would stop acting like a jealous, neglected husband.

Yan Ji seemed like he still wanted to say something, probably to express protest for the sake of his dignity as the younger adult in their relationship.

Xin Hexue walked past him and whispered something, in a voice only the two of them could hear.

Yan Ji froze on the spot like a statue, his eyes going blank for a second.

He turned his back to face the corner, his posture a bit stiff, clearly trying to hide some kind of embarrassment. His left hand curled into a fist and pressed against his lips, his expression a mix of pain and delight.

His ears were crimson red.

What Xin Hexue had said was…

“Don’t you want to fuck me while wearing a suit?”

Xin Hexue’s voice was light as a feather, his eyes scanning up and down Yan Ji’s body with obvious contempt, “Pervert.”

Yan Ji’s traitorous little brother stood up with shame.

………

After all, it was a tailored suit.

The cinched waist, widened shoulders, and fitted cut highlighted the young man’s perfect proportions and waist that was so thin it looked like it could be gripped in one hand.

The suit was jet black, setting off the young man’s fair skin and adding a moonlight-like coolness, like a noble young master untouched by the dust of the world.

But at this moment, even the coldest moon had been pulled into the lake, causing ripples.

His once calm eyes were misty with moisture, and his light-colored lips were overly bright from being kissed.

Xin Hexue saw the car parked outside the villa, quietly waiting.

He pushed Yan Ji, who was too busy kissing him. “Alright, stop wrinkling my clothes. I have to go.”

Yan Ji bit the side of Xin Hexue’s neck in protest. “It’s New Year’s Eve today. Of all days to hold this summit, they just had to pick the day of family reunion.”

Xin Hexue sighed and repeated, “Alright, I have to go.”

Yan Ji finally let him go.

Their figures were reflected in the glass window. He was wearing the suit that had been custom-made earlier, which was brown, a color Xin Hexue had picked.

This was Yan Ji’s first suit in his entire eighteen years. After all, he was the type who wore a school uniform even for his high school coming-of-age ceremony.

Seeing his clumsy movements, Xin Hexue simply helped him tie the tie.

With his palm pressed against Yan Ji’s chest and shoulder, Xin Hexue’s eyes darkened slightly, and he said with subtle meaning, “Brown really suits you. I like you in this.”

Yan Ji didn’t notice the strange undertone behind Xin Hexue’s words. He was too absorbed in the joy of hearing “I like you.”

This selective hearing prevented him from reacting at that moment and he missed the chance to learn the truth.

………

Yan Ji insisted on walking Xin Hexue to the car, and he saw him off outside the villa.

Beside the extended vehicle, the sentinel stood tall in a dark suit, looking composed and upright, his sharp features adding an air of aloofness.

But the moment he saw Xin Hexue, this aloofness melted away, like ice melting.

However, when his gaze landed on the figure in brown following behind Xin Hexue, Wei Zhuo’s expression became cold again. He frowned, and as if remembering something, he cast another glance at Yan Ji.

Yan Ji felt the same old hidden hostility in the other party’s gaze, but today there was an inexplicable hint of mockery in it too?

What did that mean?

Before he could figure it out, Wei Zhuo already looked away in mutual dislike. When he met Xin Hexue’s eyes, he hesitated for a moment. “…Your neck.”

Xin Hexue touched his neck in surprise, recalling that Yan Ji had bitten him rather hard just now.

He glared at Yan Ji, tilted his head to the side, and asked, “Is it that obvious?”

Wei Zhuo lowered his gaze. “…It’s fine. You can’t tell unless you look closely. It’ll fade soon.”

It was a bite mark, not deep, but full of provocative territorial claim.

Yan Ji tugged the corners of his lips.

Another win.

Still, to avoid making Xin Hexue angry, he lowered his voice and apologized.

Xin Hexue replied lightly, “It’s fine. Help me collect the clothes in the bedroom and hang them in the closet.”

He deliberately didn’t put away clothes he had changed out of earlier.

………

Yan Ji went back happily.

While going upstairs, he suddenly realized that Wei Zhuo was wearing a dark suit in the same color family as Xin Hexue’s today, which made them look like they were wearing couple outfits.

As a result, Yan Ji was unhappy again.

However, the brown suit he was wearing was bought and picked out by Xin Hexue.

Who the hell was Wei Zhuo? Did he have that kind of privilege?

No matter which onion it was, as long as he was an onion, Xin Hexue would pick him out of the bowl without hesitation.

Yan Ji sneered twice.

He diligently helped Xin Hexue collect the clothes and prepared to hang them in the closet.

As he passed by the closet, he noticed that the usually locked storage room was open.

Yan Ji glanced inside and saw that it looked like a garbage dump with all kinds of things placed in a disorderly manner.

It was rare to find such a messy area in Xin Hexue’s house.

Yan Ji raised his eyebrows and came up with an opportunity to show off.

If Xin Hexue came home tired and saw the house cleaned up and even the storage room organized, wouldn’t he realize that unlike those pampered noble young masters, he actually knew how to run a household?

Although they had a robot vacuum cleaner and a part time cleaner that came regularly, he didn’t use them. As a down-to-earth, capable, young sentinel who knew how to live, he was more than enough to replace a vacuum robot.

Yan Ji stepped into the storage room.

It clearly hadn’t been opened in a long time.

Everything inside was coated with a layer of dust, and Yan Ji coughed.

The curtains hadn’t been drawn, so sunlight poured in. With someone intruding, the Tyndall effect revealed the disturbed trail of floating dust.

Yan Ji decided to start by clearing off the clutter piled on a disused desk and move it to the side.

Pah! He knocked something over. When his hand swept over it, it fell to the floor with a loud shattering of glass.

Yan Ji crouched down. Knowing that nothing in the storage room was of much importance, he didn’t panic.

He looked at the back of what had shattered.

It was a picture frame?

No wonder there was broken glass all over the floor.

Yan Ji picked up the photo frame from the shards, and the photo paper inside floated to the ground.

He reached out to grab it…but his hand suddenly froze mid-air. Yan Ji’s brows furrowed, and his expression went blank for a moment.

‘That person…’

In the photo, a tall sentinel stood next to a slender guide, his arm wrapped around the other party’s shoulders in an intimate posture.

What caught Yan Ji’s attention even more was that the sentinel was wearing a brown suit. He was probably attending some important event with Xin Hexue, leaving behind this photo together.

Yan Ji had always deliberately avoided any information about that sentinel. Until now, he didn’t even know what the man looked like.

Suddenly, someone came to mind. This person was always mentioning that name around him.

Yan Ji pulled out his communicator, found the contact, and aimed the camera at the photo. His hand trembled, and the picture turned out blurry. Just as he was about to take a clearer one, his finger shook again and accidentally pressed the green send button.

His net-addicted roommate replied instantly.

[Yan Ji: image.jpg]

[Jia Jin: Fuck, I didn’t expect this. You and the major general got all dressed up in suits and took a couple pic?]

[Jia Jin: Honestly, you look like a good match. I’m starting to ship you two now. I can’t believe I was too blind before and didn’t see your worth, brother.]

The communicator light reflected on Yan Ji’s face. His expression was dark, and his eyes were gloomy and unreadable.

In the photo he sent Jia Jin, the sentinel’s face had conveniently been blurred, leaving only a faint outline of the features.

………

The contact note for Yan Ji kept flashing with pop-up message notifications.

The notification for “heartbreak value” kept ringing.

The vehicle finally arrived at its destination.

Xin Hexue calmly muted the communicator and put it away.

The suit pants wrapped around his long legs, and polished black leather shoes were the first to step onto the red carpet.

Xin Hexue breathed in the cold air.

Wei Zhuo stood beside him and silently extended a hand, his left arm slightly bent at the elbow.

Xin Hexue ignored the gesture from the sentinel.

Without looking around, he walked straight into the venue.

Wei Zhuo followed wordlessly.

Grrr…I couldn’t get any work done today!😭 My neighbor’s new gf visited today and I didn’t one human can make the noise of twenty people. From loud music to screaming matches into her phone, banging doors, ect, there has been no peace. I don’t even know if this chapter came out right. Fortunately she’s just a visitor here.
