ITAGBFIVD Chapter 76 (extra 4)

Extra 4: Amnesia 4

“President Wang… President Wang?”

Wang Huanxiu came back to his senses and said, “Leave the things there.”

Chen Ji placed the documents in his hand to Wang Huanxiu’s left.

It was raining red from the sky…Wang Huanxiu was spacing out during work!

Chen Ji offered to share his burdens. “President Wang, is something on your mind?”

“No.”

Wang Huanxiu answered immediately and concisely.

Chen Ji: Ohh, if you say there isn’t, then there isn’t.

He turned to leave.

“Wait.”

Chen Ji turned back. “What’s wrong, President Wang?”

Wang Huanxiu pressed a fist to his lips and cleared his throat. “Let me ask you, what would you do if you made someone angry?”

Chen Ji: “President Wang, generally, I can’t do anything in such situations.”

Before Wang Huanxiu could speak, Chen Ji continued, “I just usually wait to be dealt with.”

Secretary Chen, a single dog, came from a family of hot tempers. His bootlicking skills were cultivated from childhood. No one taught him; he just knew how to hold his own milk bottle and drink as a baby.

The only one who could make Wang Huanxiu ask people for advice was his God of Wealth.

Chen Ji: “President Wang, is Mr. Bai angry with you?”

Making someone angry at a time like this is really inappropriate.

“Mr. Bai’s birthday is in a few days.”

Wang Huanxiu held a pen in his hand. “His birthday?”

Chen Ji’s heart sank. You can’t blame Mr. Bai for being angry with you, you even forgot his birthday!

“Yes, next Wednesday, June 21st.”

Usually, Bai Shuijin’s birthday was when the two were most lovey-dovey. No matter how important things were, Wang Huanxiu would push them aside that day.

Chen Ji: “President Wang, go back and first coax him properly. The thing you asked me to buy earlier has arrived too…perfect for giving Mr. Bai a surprise on his birthday.”

Wang Huanxiu frowned.

He wasn’t Bai Shuijin’s laogong-ge, so why should he coax him?

Wang Huanxiu always felt resentful every time Bai Shuijin said he wasn’t his laogong-ge.

Bai Shuijin was used to calling Wang Huanxiu by this nickname…he had been calling him that since the first day they were together. Now that Wang Huanxiu had amnesia, Bai Shuijin used his name.

But every time he saw Wang Huanxiu, he would blurt out “laogong-ge”, and out of muscle memory and instinct, Wang Huanxiu would also subconsciously respond.

Bai Shuijin called, he turned around, and then things got awkward.

He thought about not celebrating Bai Shuijin’s birthday, but when he came to his senses, the computer screen showed birthday party venues.

Wang Huanxiu: “…”

He moved the mouse to close the page and continued working.

He worked until 7 PM this time, then his phone started blowing up with messages.

Wang Huanxiu watched as the contact saved as “Baby” kept popping up.

[Rest rest rest rest rest!]

[Come home come home come home come home!]

[It’s time for dinner.]

[How come you’re not back yet.]

[Your body isn’t just yours alone.]

During this period of amnesia, whenever he tried to work overtime, Bai Shuijin would send him messages on schedule, either telling him to come home or rest.

If he didn’t reply, a phone call would follow soon after.

Wang Huanxiu picked up his suit jacket and left work. When he got home, he was greeted not only by the butler but also by Wang Muguang in the garden.

“Big Brother, you’re back?”

Wang Huanxiu: “What are you doing in the garden in the pitch black?”

Wang Muguang: “Feeding the little animals.”

Wang Huanxiu: “Mosquitoes?”

“…”

‘It’s stray cats!’

Wang Muguang followed Wang Huanxiu inside. Wang Zhenzhu was curled on the sofa sketching designs, revising and editing, her hair pinned up with two pens. Hearing the noise at the entrance, she peeked out when Wang Huanxiu entered. “Big Brother, you’re back.”

“Mm.”

The butler took Wang Huanxiu’s briefcase, and his eyes couldn’t help but linger on Wang Muguang and Wang Zhenzhu for a second.

He went up to the fourth floor to the walk-in closet in the master bedroom to change. Bai Shuijin sniffed him out and found him.

“Have you eaten?”

Wang Huanxiu turned to look at him. “Not yet.”

Bai Shuijin pouted unhappily. “Why not? I told you to finish eating before 7 PM.”

Once the memory was gone, all the good habits he’d developed before vanished.

“I’m going now.”

Wang Huanxiu froze after speaking. His mouth was always faster than his brain.

After changing, Bai Shuijin pushed him to go eat dinner.

Wang Huanxiu let himself be pushed along, a pair of warm hands pressing against his back.

His life had changed dramatically in these nine years.

Around 10 PM, Wang Huanxiu lay in bed wearing glasses and reading. Bai Shuijin came out barefoot after showering.

Wang Huanxiu said coldly, “Slippers.”

Bai Shuijin ran onto the bed. “There’s a carpet.”

“Just because there’s a carpet, you don’t wear them?”

Bai Shuijin: “You’re not my laogong-ge, why do you care so much?”

He said this whenever he had no argument.

And these words always left Wang Huanxiu speechless. He put down the book and turned off the light.

He was not Bai Shuijin’s laogong-ge, why was he caring so much?

Seeing the person lying with his back to him, Bai Shuijin hugged him again.

Wang Huanxiu: “I’m not your laogong-ge, why are you hugging me?”

Bai Shuijin’s head drilled against his back like a drill. “I just want to hug.”

Wang Huanxiu sighed, turned over, and wrapped his arms around the other person. Bai Shuijin was in his embrace, with his legs draped over him, and they were intimate and close.

Before falling asleep, he still told him to work in moderation and eat on time, and he eventually slept off while mumbling.

Wang Huanxiu looked at his charming and cute appearance while sleeping and smiled helplessly. Moonlight spilled into the room as they had forgotten to close the curtains tonight.

Wang Huanxiu shifted slightly, and the person in front of him instantly tightened his hold.

“Mmm…” Bai Shuijin hummed, but showed no signs of waking.

Wang Huanxiu looked at him by the moonlight. Bai Shuijin held his finger and rubbed it against his lips.

Bai Shuijin’s lips were slightly full. Wang Huanxiu slowly leaned down, pausing just before kissing him. Then he brushed aside the hair on Bai Shuijin’s forehead and placed a kiss on his head.

He had never been in a relationship by the time he was twenty-one. And after losing nine years of memories, it was always Bai Shuijin kissing him.

Usually, he was very thick skinned when discussing business and fighting for resources, but now he felt too embarrassed to even kiss him on the mouth.

Early the next morning, Chen Ji also brought the thing his boss had asked him to buy earlier.

Wang Huanxiu fell silent as he looked at the sexy uniform in the box.

“Who wears it?”

Who else could it be?

Chen Ji smiled. “Boss, your size.”

Wang Huanxiu: “…”

What on earth was he doing before losing his memory?

Wang Huanxiu placed the item in a corner, intending to let it gather dust. But the red circle marked on the calendar constantly reminded him that Bai Shuijin’s birthday was approaching.

Wearing that kind of clothing would make Bai Shuijin happy.

As the birthday drew closer, this year with Wang Huanxiu’s amnesia, Bai Shuijin didn’t expect the other party to celebrate his birthday.

After returning from abroad, the private doctor examined Wang Huanxiu again. Aside from amnesia, there were no issues. As for when he might remember, the classic answer was given: it’s uncertain, maybe tomorrow, or maybe next year. Maybe some stimulation would help.

But it had been over a month now with no signs of him remembering.

On the morning of June 21st, Bai Shuijin got up and walked to the balcony to stretch. The open balcony offered a direct view of the garden. At a glance, the garden, which had been somewhat empty yesterday, was now filled with roses. Even now, movers were still unloading more.

Seeing Bai Shuijin awake and watching from the balcony, they instantly sped up.

“Hurry! He’s awake!”

The movers worked for over an hour to arrange the countless roses properly in the garden.

Bai Shuijin was confused. He went downstairs for breakfast, but when he reached the first floor, he thought he had stumbled into some party. There were banners, balloons, decorations, streamers, and a ten-tier cake in a prominent position.

Wang Muguang was blowing up balloons, and his cheeks were sore from the effort.

Bai Shuijin was surprised. “It’s just my birthday, do you have to work so hard?”

Wang Muguang: “It’s not like I wanted to do this. My cheeks are about to burst. If my big brother asks me to blow up balloons, I will blow up 200 of them.”

“Your big brother?”

“Who else?”

Bai Shuijin was dumbfounded. He didn’t expect Wang Huanxiu to celebrate his birthday…doesn’t he have amnesia?

Wait! Bai Shuijin’s eyes lit up. Laogong-ge remembered!

Bai Shuijin excitedly sent Wang Huanxiu a message, but there was no response.

Alright then, he probably already left for work.

Wang Huanxiu wasn’t around, but the day was scheduled full for him. There were surprises everywhere he went. Even the security guard wished him a happy birthday when he saw him that evening.

Bai Shuijin was quite happy. He would have been happier if Wang Huanxiu were there.

A birthday banquet was held at home. All of Bai Shuijin’s friends came, along with several performers in bear costumes walking around and moving here and there, enhancing the birthday atmosphere.

They partied until 2 a.m. before disbanding.

Bai Shuijin returned to the room. Wang Huanxiu hadn’t shown his face all day. He went to take a shower dejectedly, only to find a bear costume walking in.

Bai Shuijin: !

“The performance is over, you should go back now.”

The bear costume moved. The zipper on its back loosened. A hand reached up and pulled off the attached bear head, revealing Wang Huanxiu’s face.

Bai Shuijin’s eyes widened. “Why are you in there?”

The costume fabric sagged, exposing Wang Huanxiu’s shoulders. “It’s your birthday. I wanted to make you happy.”

Bai Shuijin hadn’t expected Wang Huanxiu to be inside this bear costume. Somehow, looking at Wang Huanxiu’s awkward demeanor, Bai Shuijin felt a bit shy.

After four years of marriage, Wang Huanxiu was highly in sync with him and could tell what he was thinking with a single glance.

But the Wang Huanxiu who had lost nine years of memory was like someone experiencing love for the first time. He had to slowly figure everything out.

Wearing a costume was uncomfortable, not to mention that the bear had been around since noon. “Then… then thank you for your hard work.”

Wang Huanxiu: “Do you like it?”

Bai Shuijin blushed. “I like it very much.”

“That’s good.”

Wang Huanxiu took off the costume, revealing the sexy uniform underneath. Bai Shuijin’s inner self practically had a nosebleed when he saw it.

He swallowed. “Laogong-ge, did you remember?”

Wang Huanxiu: “No.”

“Then why are you dressed like this?”

Wang Huanxiu was also a bit embarrassed. “I thought you would like it.”

Bai Shuijin’s face turned even redder.

What was he supposed to do now?!!!

By the time the two had a serious conversation again, they were already in bed. Wang Huanxiu was sweating profusely, stuck and unable to enter. With his amnesia, he had no experience and naturally lacked his usual skills.

“Does it hurt?”

Bai Shuijin tilted his head back. “It doesn’t hurt.”

Wang Huanxiu comforted him. “I’ll be gentle.”

But once things got going, Wang Huanxiu was so excited he couldn’t hold back his strength.

“Laogong-ge… laogong-ge…” Bai Shuijin’s voice was fragmented.

“Mm?”

Bai Shuijin hugged him. “I love you, I love you.”

Wang Huanxiu’s face turned bright red, and he put in even more effort, becoming like an old yellow ox plowing a field.

The next morning, Bai Shuijin looked as if he had been squeezed dry, and he weakly placed a hand on the man’s shoulder.

His whole body had been kissed until he looked like a Dalmatian.

Wang Huanxiu’s voice came from above his head. “Did you have a good time last night?”

Bai Shuijin’s voice was hoarse. “Quite good.”

“Comfortable?”

“Comfortable.”

“Was it better before or now?”

The man had amnesia. Anyone with a bit of emotional intelligence wouldn’t say “before”. Bai Shuijin said, “Now.”

“Is that so?”

Bai Shuijin pressed his face against the man’s chest muscles and closed his eyes cleverly. “Of course. Last night was much more comfortable than before.”

The voice above his head gritted its teeth. “Bai Shuijin!”

Bai Shuijin opened his eyes: Huh?
