The Only Normal Human In The Universe Chapter 56

It wasn’t that Cheng Yi didn’t try to restrain himself during this process, but his eyes felt like they were glued to the little one’s body, and he couldn’t tear them off no matter what.
It was only when the little one’s grateful gaze came over that Cheng Yi reflexively shifted his gaze: “Time for class is coming up soon, so get ready. I’m going back to my flat first.”
An Yan nodded, “Yes, thank you, senior!”
Not long after Cheng Yi left, Cheng Yang pushed open the door and walked in. Seeing that his elder brother had already left, Cheng Yang put the things he had gone to pick up on the table while complaining, “He’s really bad. He even said he wanted me to pick up his things for him, but he left without saying anything!”
An Yan adjusted his mind and said with a smile, “Senior probably had some urgent business to attend to.”
Cheng Yang continued to complain, “Hmph, he even said that if I helped him, he would give me a high quality body potion.
I think he was deliberately lying to me!”
An Yan hurriedly said, “How could senior lie to you? Since he said he would give you a high quality potion, he will certainly keep his word.”
Cheng Yang’s expression said, “Only a simple, kind-hearted little cutie like you would believe my big brother’s nonsense.”
However, considering his big brother’s wishes, Cheng Yang did not continue to badmouth him in front of An Yan. Instead, he asked, “What was Yan Yan busy with last weekend that you didn’t even come home?”
An Yan’s eyes flashed with a touch of guilt, and he said vaguely, “I wasn’t busy with anything. I was just doing a little bit of studying.  It’s getting late. Why don’t we go to class early?”
Cheng Yang nodded, and after a brief tidy-up, he went to class with An Yan.
On Monday morning, everyone had just recovered from the weekend’s relaxation and the atmosphere in class was inevitably a bit restless, but An Yan had been listening carefully and taking notes. His attitude was as focused and serious as ever.
Although his ideas on potion making were very different from the existing information, this did affect his efforts to learn from what was there.
Only with a deeper understanding of the existing pharmaceutical production system could he further combine his own thinking and ideas to find the true and correct direction.
Seeing that Cheng Yang, who was sitting beside him, had started to wander off again and even yawn twice, An Yan moved over and touched his arm, “Yang Yang, concentrate on the lesson.”
Cheng Yang scratched his head and had to collect his thoughts to try and concentrate on the lecture.
This scene naturally fell into the eyes of Zhao Xinxin, who was sitting two rows behind the two. She already regarded An Yan with displeasure, and she was now furious on seeing the interaction between him and Cheng Yang.
She had used the weekend to investigate An Yan’s personal information, understand it and his family situation. She also found out that An Yan had previously worked as a part-time worker for the Cheng family.
In her opinion, an ordinary person like An Yan, who was from a very ordinary family and had no personal redeeming qualities, must have used some unseemly means to get so close to Cheng Yang.
This made Zhao Xinxin despise and resent An Yan. How could he be favored by Cheng Yang and even get so close to Cheng Yi when he was nothing compared to her.
Zhao Xinxin’s eyes could not help but float a little dark aura. She would never let An Yan have an easy time!
An Yan was unaware of Zhao Xinxin’s thoughts and intentions.  After finishing his morning classes, he went to the canteen with Cheng Yang for lunch, then made an excuse and went back to the dormitory by himself.
He planned to give Cheng Yang a high quality body potion, so he obviously had to make it and give it to him as soon as possible.
An Yan immediately took out several potion ingredients that he needed, and then it took about ten minutes to successfully create the potion.
He put it in the instrument to test it. As expected, it was a high quality potion.
It had an effectiveness of 150 days, and the side effect was a slight fatigue for 5 seconds. The target of action was unlimited.
An Yan was quite satisfied with the effects of this potion. After carefully sealing it, he placed it in the space button for the time being.
He wanted to give it to Cheng Yang in the evening.
Before that, he needed to communicate with Cheng Yi first, so he sent a message to him: [Senior, I have just made a high quality potion and I would like to give it to Yang Yang in your name at night.]
Cheng Yi replied almost instantaneously: [Thank you, Yan Yan. I’ll treat you to dinner tonight.]
Considering that Cheng Yi had invited him to dinner last time, and he hadn’t had the time to return the invitation, An Yan replied: [I’d rather treat you to dinner tonight. Didn’t we agree before?]
Cheng Yi replied: [You just made a precious, high-quality potion for Yang Yang. If you treat me, wouldn’t that be bullying you?]
An Yan quickly refuted: [No, I wanted to give Yang Yang the potion, and I also wanted to invite the senior to dinner.]
Cheng Yi: [You’re probably the only one who would think that way, you little fool.]
An Yan didn’t think he was stupid, but he didn’t mind Cheng Yi’s name calling. He just insisted: [So let me treat senior to dinner, okay?]
[Tonight is my treat, and tomorrow night will be Yan Yan’s treat, okay? If Yan Yan doesn’t agree, I won’t cooperate with you.] Inviting An Yan to dinner was initially a small way for Cheng Yi to strengthen his relationship with An Yan; he did not want them to keep score on the number of times they invited each other to dinner.
An Yan thought for awhile. Although it was not his intention to let Cheng Yi treat him tonight, he could find the opportunity to do so again later.
An Yan didn’t feel so tangled anymore and replied: [Okay then, thank you, senior].
Cheng Yi was satisfied with the result: [No trouble, I’ll pick you up at the door of your classroom this afternoon.]
In the afternoon, when An Yan’s last class was about to end, Cheng Yi  appeared at the door of the classroom on time.
The story quickly spread, and many nearby students rushed over to watch. Even those who were in the classroom noticed Cheng Yi outside the classroom.
A student sitting near Cheng Yang couldn’t help but ask him in a whisper, “Cheng Yang, is Senior Cheng Yi here to see you?”
Cheng Yang was a little confused at first, then he remembered what happened in the morning and his eyes lit up, “My big brother is probably here to deliver something to me.”
Could it be that what big brother said before was true? He was really going to give him a high quality body potion?
However, the thought was beautiful, but the reality was cruel.  After class ended, Cheng Yang was the first to run out of the classroom and came to his elder brother, but what he got was, “Why are you out alone? Where is Yan Yan?”
Cheng Yang looked left and right in an attempt to find a trace of the potion from his big brother, but “Big brother, didn’t you come to deliver something to me?”
Cheng Yi ruthlessly shook his head, “I’m here to take Yan Yan to dinner.”
Cheng Yang was disappointed. “Alright, but you’ll take me with you this time, right?”
Cheng Yi shook his head again, “I’m afraid I can’t.”
Cheng Yang was extremely dissatisfied with his big brother’s behavior of forgetting his brother in the sight of love. However, considering that his big brother was in love for the first time in his life, he was embarrassed to force himself to tag along and be a light bulb.
“Then you should take good care of Yan Yan and send him back to the dormitory early.” Cheng Yang then came over and lowered his voice again, “Big brother, since you are going to go to dinner with Yan Yan, can you give me the other Yan Yan to me so that I can take care of him in the mean time?”
The other Yan Yan obviously didn’t exist, so Cheng Yi could ruthlessly strike the third time, “I’m afraid I still can’t.”
Cheng Yang frowned. He was about to speak when he saw that An Yan Yan had finished packing up his things and walked over, “Hello, senior.”
Cheng Yang had to stop the conversation and say to An Yan with a smile, “Yan Yan, my big brother said he wants to invite you to dinner, so you guys should go quickly.”
“Well, let’s go then.” An Yan took Cheng Yang’s hand naturally. Although he had not mentioned Cheng Yang in his previous exchange with Cheng Yi, he had already tacitly agreed that Cheng Yang would join them for today’s dinner.
Moreover, An Yan could no longer leave Cheng Yang unattended after the previous dinner incident.
“Yan Yan ……” Cheng Yi looked at their holding hands. He felt that his brother was looking more and more unpleasant. He called out to An Yan while secretly giving his brother a wink, trying to get him to offer to leave.
However, Cheng Yang acted as if he did not see it. He even let An Yan pull him forward by a few steps.
After Cheng Yang was hurt the last time, it was Cheng Yi’s turn to be depressed. He wanted to use this opportunity to spend a some time with his little one alone, and he didn’t expect things to turn out like this.
His little one was really not understanding at all.
An Yan looked back at Cheng Yi and asked in confusion, “Why isn’t senior coming? Is it because Senior has other arrangements? “
Although Cheng Yi could be merciless to his brother without any pressure, he couldn’t do anything about the little guy.
He had to sigh inwardly. He was about to speak when he heard a delicate and artificial voice come from behind him.
“Brother Cheng, are you waiting for me?” This voice was clearly Zhao Xinxin’s.
Zhao Xinxin had taken the initiative to send Cheng Yi a message in the afternoon, saying that she wanted to discuss with him the College Mecha Competition which would start next month.
However, Cheng Yi rejected her directly and said that he already had plans in the evening.
Zhao Xinxin was very unhappy at the time, but she could not do anything about it, and could only sulk alone.
She thought that she would be in a bad mood until evening, but at the end of the afternoon session, she found that Cheng Yi had unexpectedly turned up at the door of her classroom.
So did he change his mind on the spur of the moment, or had he deliberately rejected her in order to surprise her like this?
That’s right, after seeing Cheng Yi, Zhao Xinxin unilaterally and subjectively determined that the other party must have come to look for her. In her opinion, this was the only possible reason why Cheng Yi would appear here.
With this certainty, Zhao Xinxin’s mood was immediately much better, and the bit of anger she had soon dissipated completely.
She did not go out of the classroom first, because she wanted Cheng Yi to wait for her a little longer.
This was a small punishment for Cheng Yi’s earlier rejection. It would also show the other students how much Cheng Yi cared for her, so that they would definitely envy her.
But while the thought was beautiful, the reality did not go as Zhao Xinxin had expected.
