AMBTMS Chapter 191

Interstellar ABO 1

New Arc: Interstellar ABO

Chapters 191-211

Gu Lin was true to his word. In this lifetime, he always placed Li Shu in the most important position. No matter how the outside world changed, he remained the same, his heart never wavering.

What surprised Li Shu was that as Gu Lin’s ability level increased, memories from his past life began to resurface one by one. Although they were only fragmented memories, Li Shu was still very happy. This meant that his guess was correct—the person he met was always the same person.

That person followed him across different worlds. He didn’t know the true identity of the other person, nor did he know how he did it, but none of that could stop him from being happy about it.

In the end, Gu Lin held his hand and promised to wait for him in the next world. Li Shu stood by the bed and agreed with a smile. After Gu Lin left this world, he too chose to leave. He didn’t know what kind of situation he would face in the next world, but knowing there was someone waiting for him made him feel fearless.

When he closed his eyes, he saw darkness. He didn’t return to the system space but chose to go directly to the next world. He had a feeling that soon, he would know the true identity of the man.

The system also showed great understanding and I didn’t say much, it simply took the host out of the plane.

Before the discomfort of traveling through the world channel faded, Li Shu felt a powerful force coming toward him. Unable to control his body, he was pushed directly to the ground by that force.

[Host, are you okay?]

[I’m fine.] Li Shu responded to the system while regaining control over his body.

As his soul merged with the body, the original owner’s memories and emotions flooded in together.

They overwhelmed him like a tidal wave. Even though he hadn’t yet figured out what the original owner had gone through, Li Shu could already feel the suffocating sadness and despair. This was entirely different from the original owners he had encountered before. Controlled by these emotions, he couldn’t help but frown.

“That guy dares to covet the senior? Does he even know what he looks like?”

“Don’t say it like that, at least he’s an Omega, though his background is a bit disgraceful, and he’s a bit shameless.”

“I really don’t understand how there could be such an Omega.”

“Well, I’m quite shocked myself, an Omega who dares to steal his younger brother’s fiancé. Where did all those etiquette lessons go?”

“Don’t even mention it; maybe it’s a family tradition. After all, didn’t his Omega mother steal someone’s fiancé as well? Otherwise, how was he born? He’s the eldest son of a Duke’s family, after all.”

“Hahaha, exactly! With a mother like that, it’s no wonder he’s doing such things.”

—That’s not true. What do you know? I didn’t do any of that. I clearly…

The unwillingness in his heart roared, and Li Shu’s eyes turned red as he spent a great deal of effort to suppress the emotions.

‘Were these the original owner’s feelings?’

‘What kind of experience could lead to such despair?’

Every poisonous word fell into Li Shu’s ears without missing a beat, but unlike the original owner, Li Shu didn’t feel much from hearing them. The path of cultivation had led him through many things, and he had heard much worse than this. If he cared about every word, if he let everything said about him sink into his heart, he wouldn’t have made it this far.

It was one thing not to care, but he still had things to say. If the truth of the matter were really as these people claimed, he wouldn’t argue, but that wasn’t the case. In this matter, no one, including the original owner’s father, was innocent.

Turning black into white, manipulating the truth—no one played the game better than the original owner’s family.

He suddenly stood up from the ground. “Have you had enough?”

His tone was calm, unlike the countless times he had been scolded to the point of collapse in the past. The people around him froze.

The chattering finally stopped. Li Shu didn’t care what they said, but right now, he didn’t want to waste time on these people.

“What do you mean ‘have you had enough’? You did those shameless things, and now we’re not allowed to talk about it?” The person speaking clearly felt embarrassed, startled by someone who had always been bullied. He felt that he had lost face and immediately retorted.

“Exactly, exactly.” The others snapped back to their senses and chimed in.

“Then why don’t you tell me, what exactly did I do?” Li Shu’s gaze swept over them. They were all young, precious Omegas of the Empire, and classmates of the original owner. Yet ironically, it was these same people who had become the original owner’s biggest nightmare.

“You…”

“If you’re talking about me stealing Li Luo’s fiancé, then there’s no need to mention it. And if you’re talking about my mother, that’s unnecessary too. You’ve been talking about it every day. Aren’t you tired? Because I’m certainly tired for you.”

Since the original owner’s scandal with that so-called younger brother’s fiancé had been exposed, school had turned into hell for him. He had thought about explaining himself, but no one wanted to listen. Those people were stubbornly convinced that the original owner was exactly as the rumors described. One by one, his former friends distanced themselves, and no one believed him.

It wasn’t just at school; it seemed that overnight, everyone knew he had stolen his brother’s fiancé. The worst part was that the original owner had barely spoken a few words to this so-called fiancé. The few photos that were circulating were the only times they had even been in the same frame.

Yet the angle of the photos was perfectly chosen, making them look unusually intimate even though they were strangers.

“What? Now you won’t admit to what you did?” A boy with shoulder-length golden hair spoke scornfully. He was good friends with Li Luo and had warned him in the past to be wary of this Omega half-brother.

“Li Shu, can you honestly say you’ve been fair to Li Luo?” Li Luo was too kind, and that’s why he had been bullied by Li Shu all this time. He even dared to interfere in the marriage decision made by the elders in the family.

“How have I ever wronged him? Don’t just believe everything people say. You’ve been in the same class as me for years, haven’t you? So, tell me, before this whole stealing Li Luo’s fiancé mess came out, did you ever see me interact with that Alpha? Not to mention that Alpha, I barely even talk to any Alphas.”

Li Shu’s words were absolutely true. The original owner was a shy and delicate child, much like most Omegas at that age. In fact, because of his upbringing, he was even more guarded toward the outside world.

His life was simple and very regular. It was this simplicity that gave that mother-son duo the opportunity. A little tampering here and there, and the “evidence” was ready.

Similarly, such “evidence” was easy to refute. If only one person had been willing to believe the original owner or speak up for him, he wouldn’t have ended up in this situation.

“You won’t admit it, of course…”

“See, no matter what I say, you’ll think I’m just making excuses. But why don’t you think for a moment—is everything really as you believe it to be?” Li Shu interrupted the blonde Omega.

He didn’t expect these people to figure everything out. He just wanted to plant a seed of doubt in their minds. When the time was right, that seed would naturally grow.

Li Shu would seek justice for the original owner, along with his mother. He would clean up every bit of the slander, and none of those who deserved punishment would escape.

“Ring—”

The bell for class rang. Li Shu picked up the book that had fallen to the ground and walked around the group. It was lunchtime, and the original owner had been on his way to the library when he was intercepted by the blonde Omega and the others.

Most of the people in the group were strangers to the original owner, and they didn’t know him either. It was just because of that incident that they gathered together and made trouble for the original owner whenever they had the chance, as if by doing so, they were standing on the side of justice.

But it was nothing more than bullying, cloaked in the guise of righteousness. These self-proclaimed righteous individuals were doing the most despicable things.

“Wait—” The blonde Omega blocked Li Shu again. “What did you mean by what you just said?”

“I think I was clear. If you want to stand up for Li Luo, shouldn’t you first get to the truth? Li Luo is the real young master of the Li family. Do you think I have the power to do those things?” Li Shu pushed him away. “I’m going to class now. Move.”

The blonde Omega lowered his eyes, hiding his thoughtful expression. He wasn’t truly naive; he had seen plenty of internal strife in his family. It was common, especially among the nobility. They appeared glamorous on the surface, but only those involved knew what it was really like. He himself had gone through similar things, which was why he felt so sympathetic towards Li Luo.

“I’ll investigate. If you really did those things, I won’t let you off.”

As they brushed past each other, Li Shu heard the blonde Omega say. He didn’t respond. The mother-son duo’s methods weren’t sophisticated. If the blonde Omega really investigated, he would easily find several flaws.

Sure enough, the blonde Omega didn’t attend class. Li Shu sat in a seat near the back, ignoring the curious stares from all directions and focusing on the lecture.

The original owner was now a third-year student at the Imperial University, enrolled in the Omega Academy. This academy was set up specifically for Omegas from noble families. Both the original owner and his younger brother attended this academy, but they studied different subjects. The original owner was in one of the programs that anyone could enter with enough money, designed purely to pass the time.

This world’s setting was in a future interstellar society. Besides male and female, humanity had evolved into three other genders: Alpha, Beta, and Omega. Among them, Alphas were the strongest, whether male or female, they possessed great physical strength and mental power. Omegas were the weakest in terms of physical strength, but their mental power was comparable to Alphas. They were the rarest, capable of giving birth to powerful offspring and thus highly valued. Betas were the most average.

Both the original owner and Li Luo were Omegas, but the original owner’s mental strength was not as strong as Li Luo’s. From a young age, he had been neglected. Now, with some time, Li Shu was able to fully absorb the original owner’s memories.

Meanwhile, in a heavily guarded base, a man with a cold and stern face opened his eyes.

“Marshal, the remaining Zerg have been completely eradicated,” the adjutant reported immediately after receiving the news. “Marshal, should we head to the Ring Galaxy next?”

“No, set course for the Empire Star.”
