IROAWTMTFL Chapter 47

Husband, Shall I Carry You?

Zhuang-son of Heaven-Yiyun, held back Yan Yan, who wanted to turn around. He draped his arm over Yan Yan’s shoulder and half pulled him into his embrace, preventing him from leaving.

Their fellow travelers were still cheering on. Yan Yan was speechless. He had just arrived and was already being punished. Unbelievable!

“This is unacceptable. I would accept it if I lost in the game. This is a bit unsportsmanlike,” Yan Yan said.

As soon as Yan Yan spoke, someone immediately chimed in, “You guys disappeared for five or six days straight. It was hard to divide the tables for meals. Shouldn’t there be a punishment?”

Originally, there were eight couples, totaling sixteen people in the group. It was convenient to divide into two tables for meals, with eight people at each table. However, with Yan Yan and Zhuang Yiyun leaving, there were only fourteen people left. Dividing into two tables meant one table had six people and the other with eight, which was not easy to arrange.

“Exactly!” someone exclaimed, and others immediately joined in.

Another person teased Zhuang Yiyun, “Hurry up and carry your husband.”

*They actually said ‘wife’, but most readers complained about this so I just used ‘husband’.

The smile on Zhuang Yiyun’s lips widened, and he turned to ask Yan Yan, “Husband, shall I carry you?”

Yan Yan stuttered from being called ‘husband’, “I, I, I…”

“I understand, I agree,” Zhuang Yiyun said.

With that, Zhuang Yiyun bent down, his long arms reaching around Yan Yan’s knees, and he lifted him up directly.

The cheers shook the sky. These two group members were eye-catching, who wouldn’t enjoy watching handsome men being affectionate with each other? The taller one, when not smiling, was an iceberg of abstinence, and when he did, he was irresistibly charming. The shorter one seemed carefree, but a tease from his husband would make him blush, turning him into a shy and adorable cutie—YYDS!

Yan Yan, who was suddenly lifted off the ground, instinctively leaned against him before coming to his senses and realizing he should have jumped down.

Zhuang Yiyun blocked him by using the force from carrying him, saying in his ear amidst the noise, “Don’t move, you might hurt someone.”

“Damn it, put me down! If we’re carrying, I should be the one carrying you!” Yan Yan was frustrated, and Zhuang Yiyun chuckled, setting him down gently on an empty seat.

The two of them had used the same scented soap in the beach shower, but due to body heat, the scents had blended into different fragrances. Yan Yan smelled the faint, musky scent on Zhuang Yiyun’s body and was unable to control the heat rising within him.

He tried hard to control himself, but with just this brief hug, the scent seemed to permeate him, sticking to his skin. His arm was pressed against Zhuang Yiyun’s chest, and he had the illusion that he was heating Zhuang Yiyun up.

The game continued, and the two of them officially joined. The group was playing a simple game: guessing numbers from 1 to 100. With each guess, the range narrowed down, and the person who guessed correctly had to be punished. There were three types of punishments: “Manchu Feast,” “Scapegoat,” and “I’d rather die than say.”

“Scapegoat” was what a teammate had drawn earlier, and Yan Yan and Zhuang Yiyun had already been through it.

“Machu Feast” meant all players had to pick a piece of food for the loser, who had to eat it all, effectively cleaning up leftover dishes.

“I’d rather die than say” was the most anticipated punishment. Everyone could ask the loser a question, and they had to answer truthfully.

The loser in the previous round wrote down a number, placed it face down on the table, and everyone started guessing clockwise.

This game relied more on luck than skill, so intelligence had little use here. Zhuang Yiyun had never played this kind of game before, so he just followed along. When he adapted to it, he found the simple and fast-paced game quite enjoyable, it gave a sense of relaxation.

It seemed he had some sort of luck buff, narrowly avoiding the correct answer for two rounds in a row. Yan Yan wasn’t as fortunate; he lost on the third round. He drew a punishment card, getting the “Manchu Feast” card. Fortunately, it wasn’t too harsh.

He had just sighed in relief when jealous group members, envious of his good figure, began piling food onto his plate, as if trying to make him gain thirty pounds in one go and showing no mercy.

Yan Yan: ‘Hmmh, if I had known, I would rather have hang out with Zhuang Yiyun only!’

Zhuang Yiyun looked at the heap of food and moved more than half of it back onto his own plate. The restaurant they had chosen earlier was excellent, so Yan Yan had already eaten quite a lot. Finishing this plate would surely give him indigestion.

One of the group members jumped out and protested. Zhuang Yiyun noticed it was the person who had placed the most food on Yan Yan’s plate. Having a bit of harmless fun during a game was acceptable, but it shouldn’t harm one’s health. He looked at the man with an unfriendly expression and then asked everyone with a cold tone, “Didn’t your boyfriends share the burden when you drew the punishment?”

Man: “No, of course not. How could we do that, it’s a matter of honor!”

They did actually, but Zhuang Yiyun and Yan Yan didn’t see it. The person was lying through his teeth.

“Oh,” Zhuang Yiyun responded. He picked up a piece of beef, chewed a few times, swallowed, and said, “Then your boyfriends aren’t good enough.”

The powerful boyfriend comment stunned all the girls, who covered their faces and laughed wildly. They were almost going crazy eating sugar from the handsome couple.

Yan Yan glanced at Zhuang Yiyun, who picked up a piece of beef from his own plate and placed it back on Yan Yan’s plate, saying, “This beef is good.”

The punishment turned became a scene of feeding dog food and Yan Yan was speechless.

Then more male group members targeted him.

People’s competitiveness heightened, and the guesses became bolder and faster. In the seventh round, Yan Yan lost again, this time drawing the “I’d rather die than say” card.

“What… the ultimate punishment? Damn it, Zhuang Yiyun, share some of your luck with me!”

“How can I share? By holding hands?” Zhuang Yiyun saw Yan Yan clenching his teeth in frustration, and whispered in his ear, “Do you need to… use my mouth to say the numbers for it to work?”

Someone yelled: “What are you whispering about? Don’t collude to cover up the confession.”

Zhuang Yiyun gracefully backed off, leaving Yan Yan alone and his mind buzzing from the teasing. Zhuang Yiyun spoke half and left the other half unsaid, but even a fool could understand he was talking about kissing. How could this opportunist be so good at seizing the chance? He was a first-rate schemer.

“Alright, let’s start asking questions!” Everyone was eager, especially a select few. There were men who were jealous of Yan Yan’s popularity and girls who were already high from excitement.

The first question was about their first kiss. In this context, it was just an appetizer, but it put Yan Yan in a tough spot. After all, telling the truth would surely make Zhuang Yiyun triumphant?

Feeling the substantial gazes around him, Yan Yan’s brain, struck by a double blow from Orange and Zhuang Yiyun, suddenly woke up. He realized what was going on: Zhuang Yiyun gave him his first kiss. Wasn’t that enough to make Zhuang Yiyun tease him? Then the key was not to act too concerned.

“Yesterday.”

“Impossible!”

“You must be joking!”

“You’re lying.”

“Could it be that you have just started dating?!”

All eyes shifted back and forth between Yan Yan and Zhuang Yiyun. Zhuang Yiyun remained unchanged, his emotions unreadable. Yan Yan looked at him with a hint of provocation and said, “Not joking.”

Everyone’s interest was piqued, as there was genuinely no other pair like them in the group. The next person to ask continued, “What did your first kiss feel like?”

“It hurt a bit. Ah, someone just has terrible skills.”

“Wow—!” All eyes now fixed on Zhuang Yiyun.

Just when Yan Yan thought Zhuang Yiyun might feel embarrassed, the latter looked over confidently and said, “It was the first time, please forgive me.”

Thankfully, the girls managed not to turn into screaming chickens at the topic of first kisses. Why weren’t they there yesterday?

The discussion about first kisses subsided, and the following questions were simpler ones like, “Which part of yourself are you most satisfied with?” Yan Yan answered each one. Soon, it was the turn of the male teammate who had been reprimanded by Zhuang Yiyun.

“Besides your boyfriend, if you had to kiss any male here, who would you choose? And why?”

As soon as he asked, both Zhuang Yiyun and Yan Yan turned to look at him in unison, their expressions less than friendly.

Asking such a question at a singles gathering might lead to some assistance, but now they were a couple in a sweet relationship. The whole group consisted of couples. How could anyone answer this? Not to mention the diverse sexual orientations involved.

In a moment, not only the two involved parties stared at him, but also the others cast puzzled glances his way.

The man seemed momentarily flustered. Being disliked by one person versus being disliked by everyone were entirely different matters.

At this moment, Yan Yan spoke up, “Since you asked, then it’s you. After kissing you, I could just abstain from eating and bath for a month to wash off the stench. Besides, apart from you, everyone else here has some dignity; they wouldn’t take advantage of a game to make me actually kiss them.”

Before the guy could retort, Yan Yan added, “Aren’t you curious why? Of course, it’s because your girlfriend seems ready to dump you. I won’t have any pressure ruining your relationship.”

“It’s getting late, let’s go.”

Not to mention how the man tried to cause trouble before, just his question alone infuriated Zhuang Yiyun. He pulled Yan Yan up and said directly, “Let’s go back and clean up, we’ve become dirty.”

Yan Yan followed Zhuang Yiyun, and the man shouted from behind. The two turned back, their gazes fierce and icy, immediately intimidating him.

“Why can’t you take a joke…” He muttered to himself while others rolled their eyes and left the table, the contempt on their faces visible.

Was this a matter of being able to take a joke or not? Imagine if Yan Yan had answered that he wanted to kiss their boyfriend, how would they respond? This guy was so cunning, why didn’t he suggest a spouse-swapping game instead? No, he probably secretly enjoyed the idea of swapping spouses.

The next day’s itinerary involved a yacht trip out to sea, with activities like fishing and snorkeling. When boarding, Yan Yan noticed that the man from yesterday and his girlfriend didn’t show up. He was quite curious, so he went to m the tour guide a d asked why. He found out the man’s girlfriend was angry and wanted to leave the tour, so he chased after her to the airport to persuade her to stay.

Yan Yan laughed heartily and said to Zhuang Yiyun, “He wanted to scheme against you, but he didn’t consider his own capabilities.”

Zhuang Yiyun nodded in agreement and asked if Yan Yan wanted to go snorkeling or fishing first. At this moment, the boat approached Riyue Bay, where there was a skydiving base and tourists doing skydiving could be seen floating in the air. The group then asked whether they could go skydiving.

The guide said it could be arranged during the afternoon’s free time, so everyone started discussing it.

Someone asked Yan Yan if he wanted to join and Yan Yan replied, “I went just a couple of days ago.”

“Ah? Did you go alone? Where did you go?”

“To the eastern seaside skydiving base.”

“Was it fun? Were you scared?”

“Not scared…” Yan Yan paused for a moment, then said with an indescribable tone of pride, “He’s certified, so he took me and I wasn’t scared at all.”

Before he finished speaking, Zhuang Yiyun’s gaze fell on Yan Yan’s face, capturing his proud expression in his precious memory bank.

He wanted to hug Yan Yan, to hug him tightly. Yan Yan’s proud look was because of him. There was no aphrodisiac more potent than this.

The group started teasing again. Three girls even huddled together, whispering. Yan Yan happened to overhear what one of them said.

“What kind of immortal love is this? Sure enough, all handsome guys are turning to each other.”

At this moment, someone approached Zhuang Yiyun, who was standing alone away from the crowd. The boy stood next to him, and asked softly, “Gege, can you take me skydiving? I’m very obedient and super well-behaved. If you ask me to kneel, I would never lie down.”

Author’s Note:

Yan Yan: Even if I haven’t acknowledged him as my husband, who gave you the right to approach him?! Watch me deal with you!
