The Heartthrob Protagonist Just Wants To Monopolize Me Chapter 141.2 [END]

A week later, Yu Ning became a student at H University.

Just when Ji Mingxia was looking forward to living together and going to school and class with Yu Ning, he received a phone call from his grandmother.

To Grandma Ji, she hadn’t spoken to him for a week, but to him, he hadn’t seen the Grandma Ji of this world for a year.

When he answered the call, Ji Mingxia wanted to express how much he missed her when he heard her say in an unprecedented serious tone, “Ji Mingxia, are you in a relationship?”

“Huh?” At this moment, Ji Mingxia was waiting for Yu Ning to buy him ice cream by the roadside, and his hand trembled and almost dropped the phone when he heard these words.

He glanced at Yu Ning in the distance and sneered, “Old woman, you are quite well-informed ……”

Yu Ning had only been back for a week, and Ji Mingxia was still thinking about when to take him home, but unexpectedly, Grandma Ji had already known about him.

Grandma Ji snorted coldly: “Do you think I’m old and dim-witted, and don’t know anything? How long were you going to keep it from me if I hadn’t asked?!

“No, no way! Heaven and earth, how can I hide this little issue from you, grandma?” Ji Mingxia hurriedly said.

In his world, there was no Ke Chengxuan and there were no supernatural incidents, so Grandma Ji was far more cheerful and open-minded than the one in the book world, and there was absolutely no need for Ji Mingxia to hide anything from her.

“I planned to surprise you by bringing Yu Ning over the weekend… I didn’t expect that you are so wise, unparalleled and far sighted……”

Grandma Ji couldn’t endure Ji Mingxia’s non-stop rainbow farts, and said with disgust, “Stop stop stop, come back tomorrow, okay? We’ll talk about it then.”

Yu Ning came back from buying ice cream and saw Ji Mingxia standing in a daze, “Mingxia?”

Ji Mingxia lifted his head and looked at Yu Ning with a bitter smile.

Yu Ning saw a bit of thin sweat on his forehead and said, “Did you wait for too long?”

“Yu Ning.” Ji Mingxia said, “We’re going to meet the family.”

Yu Ning was slightly surprised.

“And, it’s the second time.” Ji Mingxia said.

Yu Ning instantly came to his senses and said with understanding, “I’ll be on my best behavior.”

“Don’t count that fool Ke Chengxuan, I’ve never had a boyfriend before so my grandma might be a bit demanding!” Ji Mingxia said, “You have to strive to sleep alone in the guest bedroom.”

“Okay.” Yu Ning replied, and handed the ice cream to Ji Mingxia.

Yu Ning didn’t have any luggage, so he followed Ji Mingxia back to school to pack up, and the two of them headed straight to the airport.

This time, there were no fans, Ke Chengxuan and no supernatural encounters. In the late afternoon, the two of them returned to Banana Leaf Village and met this world’s Grandma Ji.

The Grandma Ji in this world looked a lot younger than the Grandma Ji in the books, and she was a life-loving, fashionable lady.

When Yu Ning and Ji Mingxia arrived home, Yu Ning froze when the door opened and he saw the much younger Grandma Ji.

And when Grandma Ji saw Yu Ning’s face, her eyes widened.

The sunlight reflected on Yu Ning’s face, gilding it with a light but delicate layer of gold, outlining his already delicate features and slender profile even more strikingly.

Contrary to his fair skin were his eyes.

Even when the sunlight shone between his face, it could not be reflected in his eyes. They were like two deep pools of water, as mysterious and vast as the stars.

The white was extremely white, the black was extremely black, two minimalist colours collided, and the strong visual impact made it impossible to move the eyes away.

“Where is this fairy from, coming down to my house?” Grandma Ji said dumbly.

Ji Mingxia, who was standing beside Yu Ning, saw that Grandma Ji didn’t even look at him and said, “Grandma, I’m back.”

Grandma Ji heard Ji Mingxia’s voice and reluctantly took her eyes off of Yu Ning’s face.

As soon as she saw Ji Mingxia’s mortal face, Grandma Ji instantly snapped back to attention.

She had always thought that although her grandson would stand out in the crowd because of his good looks.

However, the moment she saw Yu Ning, Ji Mingxia, who was always handsome, was turned into an ordinary boy.

If Ji Mingxia hadn’t spoken up, Grandma Ji would have ignored him the entire time ……

At this thought, Grandma Ji felt a little guilty.

Her grandson had been in college for several months, and now that he had made a trip home, she almost didn’t notice him.

It was all the fault of the boy in front of her, he was too good looking that it was a sin.

Grandma Ji coughed dryly and gestured to Ji Mingxia, “You guys, this is ……”

“Grandma, this is my boyfriend, Yu Ning.” Ji Mingxia introduced.

“Yu Ning?” Grandma Ji turned and looked at Yu Ning once again.

This time, she didn’t admire Yu Ning’s facial features, but instead looked him up and down with the mentality of an elder looking at a junior.

Upon closer inspection, the cold and brooding aura from his body was almost impossible to hide.

As a stranger, Grandma Ji greatly admired Yu Ning’s face, but as an elder, a child with such an aura was not her first choice.

Grandma Ji was inwardly torn, on the one hand, she felt that this boy was good looking, and on the other hand, she worried that such an outstanding person would not put his heart on that silly grandson of hers.

Although she was torn, the visitor was a guest and Grandma Ji quickly invited Yu Ning in.

After the three of them had their dinner, Grandma Ji immediately asked Ji Mingxia to go upstairs and clean up.

Ji Mingxia immediately understood that Grandma Ji wanted to talk to Yu Ning alone, so he gave Yu Ning a wink before he went upstairs apprehensively.

Yu Ning and Grandma Ji talked for a long time, and it wasn’t that Ji Mingxia hadn’t thought of sneaking downstairs to eavesdrop, but the Grandma Ji of this world knew him too well.

After being caught a few times, Ji Mingxia dared not do it again and could only wait in his room obediently.

Two hours later, Grandma Ji finally let  Yu Ning go and gave him permission to go upstairs to see Ji Mingxia.

As soon as Ji Mingxia saw Yu Ning enter, he stood up and said nervously, “How was it, what did Grandma say?” ,

Yu Ning looked solemn and he sighed slightly as he walked over to Ji Mingxia’s bookshelf and said, “Grandma asked me to come up and help you tidy up your room.”

“Tidy up what, I’ve already finished tidying up.” Ji Mingxia said. “Will you be sleeping next door?”

Yu Ning straightened a few books and shook his head, “No.”

“Ah, you won’t.” Ji Mingxia said disappointedly.

Never in a million years would he have thought that even the hard to convince Grandma Ji in the book world could let Yu Ning sleep next door, while the Grandma Ji in his own world wouldn’t let Yu Ning stay overnight!

Ji Mingxia became a little anxious: “It’s already dark, there’s no reason to drive you out, I’ll go and talk to Grandma, I must get you to stay tonight!”

He said and hurriedly walked towards the door.

Just as Ji Mingxia was about to open the door, Yu Ning suddenly reached out and pulled him back.

Ji Mingxia was full of thoughts about how to convince Grandma Ji, and at Yu Ning’s pull, he turned and was just about to urge Yu Ning to join him in pleading with Grandma Ji when he suddenly saw the books that Yu Ning was holding in his other hand ……

‘Mmm? Why do those books …… look a bit familiar ……?’

Weren’t these the books he had secretly collected with the group of boys in his class over the years ……

Ji Mingxia’s eyes widened: “You…you, you, what are you doing with these books, quickly…quickly put them back!”

Not only did Yu Ning not put them back, but he even opened some of the books.

The book covers said “World History”, “How to Learn Math”, “A Complete List of Good Words and Phrases” and other serious words, but after opening it, it was a wide variety of ……

There are a variety of colorful comics, real-life portraits, and some books were simply hollowed out in the middle, hiding several collector’s edition CDs.

The cover of these books and CDs were more blunt compared to the serious text on the book covers, and just looking at them could make people blush.

Ji Mingxia had hidden these books for years and didn’t expect Yu Ning to find his treasured “treasure trove” in less than five minutes!

He was stunned, and his face was so red to the point of dripping blood. He rushed over and hurriedly snatched those things, closed them up quickly and put them on the shelf to hide them.

He turned back after completing all this only to see Yu Ning standing in place and looking at him with a smirk.  Ji Mingxia stumbled over his words and tried to save his image, “Not… not all of them are mine …… some are from others …… I haven’t read most of them ……”

As he spoke, he felt that he was a bit weak in this redeeming respect, and hastily added: “I’m an adult, these …… are normal urges. Men have to *face up to their hearts…”

*Face up to their hearts – coming to term with their desires.

In order to ease the embarrassment, Ji Mingxia decided to throw the issue to Yu Ning.

He asked Yu Ning, “Am I right?”

“Mm.” Yu Ning nodded and walked up to Ji Mingxia, lowering his head as he got closer to him.

Ji Mingxia’s mind was full of those messy discs Yu Ning had just seen, and he was blushing, and now that Yu Ning was so close to him, he instantly became body shy and flustered.

The corners of Yu Ning’s mouth were slightly hooked, and the way he looked at him was like a hook, tickling Ji Mingxia’s heart every now and then.

Ji Mingxia couldn’t hold back and whispered, “Why are you looking at me like that?”

“I’m facing up to my heart.” Yu Ning whispered, his voice a little lower than usual, and it fell next to Ji Mingxia’s ear like a feather running down his ear and into the collar of his coat.

Ji Mingxia felt his body heat up, he raised his head, and wanted to say something when Yu Ning suddenly kisses him.

This kiss was hotter than any other, burning every inch of Ji Mingxia’s skin. It wasn’t until the jacket’s collar buttons were unbuttoned and a slight coolness penetrated that Ji Mingxia react and hurriedly grabbed Yu Ning’s hands and said, “I …… I’ll go and persuade Grandma to let you stay ……”

Yu Ning slowly kissed his earlobe: “Grandma allowed me to sleep in your room tonight.”

What?!

Ji Mingxia was startled. Yu Ning’s kisses kept going down and Ji Mingxia hurriedly stopped him again, “I-I-I …… Yu Ning, I haven’t practiced yet, I’m not sure if my skills can satisfy you ……”

Yu Ning said next to Ji Mingxia’s ear, “I’m ready.”

“Really?” Ji Mingxia was now in a bit of a dilemma.

Yu Ning, as the one below, was all ready, wouldn’t it hurt Yu Ning’s pride if he were to refuse at this moment?

Ji Mingxia hesitantly said, “Then …… let’s start …… but, Yu Ning, my house is not soundproofed, just try to keep it down if you can’t help but scream.”

At his words, Yu Ning paused for a moment, then let out a low chuckle.

He kissed Ji Mingxia more deeply.

“Okay, I’ll hold back.”

Ji Mingxia was so dazed from the kiss that his bones went soft. The cool warm sensations met at the same time, his breathing gradually became rapid but his whole body became light and airy, as if Yu Ning was leading his soul away.

It was only when a strange sensation came over his body that Ji Mingxia suddenly reacted and struggled weakly, “Wait, why am I lying down?”

Yu Ning lifted his head upon hearing this.

His whole body was flushed with moisture, and a strand of hair fell to the corner of his lips, further accentuating the beautiful features. Only that his eyes, his eyes looked like those of a wolf ready to enjoy a gourmet feast, looking both sharp and seductive.

Ji Mingxia had never seen Yu Ning have such a look, so he was dumbfounded.

Yu Ning slowly said, “You want to be on top?”

Without waiting for Ji Mingxia to react, Yu Ning lifted his entire body in the next moment.

After the sky spun around, an indescribable feeling swept through Ji Mingxia’s entire body, as if his soul had been penetrated and he was suddenly merged into one with Yu Ning.

Ji Mingxia’s eyes widened as he gasped violently, he was just about to ask Yu Ning for an explanation, but before he could say anything, Yu Ning kissed him deeply.

“Shhh, Grandma is right next door.” Yu Ning whispered next to his ear.

As soon as Ji Mingxia heard this, he became angry and anxious, and could not help but glare at Yu Ning, “Then you should slow down ……take it easy ……”

“Okay.” Yu Ning said in a hoarse voice.

He was so gentle when kissing Ji Mingxia, but was fierce elsewhere.

The indescribable feeling spread through Ji Mingxia’s entire body, and even his fingers became so tingly that he couldn’t move.

Ji Mingxia felt that he was just a small boat, drifting in the turbulent tide and all the exits were controlled by Yu Ning, making him unable to hide and he could only sway and move in the waves, wandering about until the dawn of time ….

……

The next day, Ji Mingxia woke up with dark circles under his eyes.

He originally planned to be furious today, let Yu Ning see his power and let him know that he is not easy to bully!

However, he woke and found Yu Ning sitting beside him and on seeing him wake up, handed him a towel and clothes.

Ji Mingxia eventually calmed down on seeing Yu Ning’s humble and obedient little wife look.

Although his body was sore, he had to admit that last night was quite exciting and he felt good.

After all, Yu Ning was gifted …… and loved to learn ……

When it came to the real thing, the hardware was excellent, and the technique was excellent ……

Ji Mingxia was originally worried that he could not satisfy Yu Ning, but….this didn’t seem too bad.

Of course, he would never take the initiative to say such a thing out loud!

The two of them went downstairs after Ji Mingxia had washed and changed under Yu Ning’s care.

Grandma Ji had already woken and was making tea while watching a sadistic drama. On seeing Ji Mingxia and Yu Ning come down, she poured a bowl of honeysuckle tea for Ji Mingxia and a glass of water for Yu Ning.

Ji Mingxia secretly observed the look on Grandma Ji’s face and was relieved to find that she looked normal, meaning they probably didn’t disturb her last night.

Yu Ning had tossed him all night, and his throat was hurting like hell. His bowl of clear tea was refreshing and cool, and it soothed him all the way to the bottom of his heart.

Ji Mingxia immediately patted Grandma Ji’s back: “Grandma is so good, your tea is so delicious.”

Grandma Ji glanced at him, “This is a tea to moisten your throat.”

“Mmmm, thank you Grandma.” Ji Mingxia smiled.

Ji Mingxia was puzzled when Grandma became speechless and decided to just turn her head and continue to watch TV.

He turned to look at Yu Ning, and then reacted to what Grandma Ji meant.

Tea to moisten the throat? He hadn’t even come downstairs yet Grandma Ji had already made throat tea for him ……

Yu Ning only had a cup of water, no tea.

This ……

Could ……

Could it be that ……

Ahhhhhh, were their movements that loud last night?!

Ji Mingxia looked like he wanted to burrow into the ground and Grandma Ji snorted and eventually called Yu Ning upstairs.

She asked Yu Ning to wait outside the door of her room, entered and came out with the treasured heirloom and handed it to Yu Ning.

“Mingxia likes you so much, and I believe in his vision.” Grandma Ji said, “Don’t let us down.”

A while back, Yu Ning had received this gift from the other Grandma Ji before he knew where Ji Mingxia really came from.

When Ji Mingxia disappeared and the Ji Mingxia of the book world returned, Yu Ning found an opportunity to return that heirloom to Grandma Ji and explain everything to her.

Having lived a long life, Grandma Ji quickly came to accept the reality and wished that Yu Ning would find Ji Mingxia soon.

After all, to her, no matter who Ji Mingxia was, he was still her grandson.

And now, Yu Ning received the Ji family heirloom for the second time.

This time, it was a gift that truly belonged to him and Ji Mingxia.

Yu Ning solemnly accepted the precious blessing.

——————

A few weeks later, Ji Mingxia moved out of the school dormitory and officially started living together with Yu Ning.

Three years later, Yu Ning and Ji Mingxia graduated from university.

In the same year, Grandma Ji suggested that they should get married.

Ji Mingxia originally thought that two men living together would be the end of the story, but to his surprise, there was also the matter of marriage.

“What, you don’t want to tie the knot?” Grandma Ji immediately asked in return.

At those words, not only did Grandma Ji stare at Ji Mingxia, but even Yu Ning looked over.

“How is that possible? I’m looking forward to it very very much!” Ji Mingxia hurriedly said, “It’s just that, grandma, you’re so old, you don’t have to do it all yourself ……”

Grandma Ji was immediately displeased and asked, “Have you ever been married?”

Ji Mingxia shook his head.

“Have you been to a gay wedding?”

Ji Mingxia continued to shake his head.

Grandma Ji immediately scolded him, “Then you have no say in the matter.”

Ji Mingxia was speechless for a moment.

Only after Grandma Ji had gone did Ji Mingxia react as an afterthought.

His grandmother meant that …… she has ever attended a gay wedding?

No wonder she quickly accepted when she found out he was in a relationship and liked Yu Ning.

As expected of his grandmother, she has really seen a lot!

Under Grandma Ji’s supervision and Yu Ning’s assistance, Ji Mingxia and Yu Ning’s wedding took place on the eve of the seventh month.

It coincided with the summer holidays so Ji Mingxia invited many of his classmates to attend.

When the two appeared in their formal attire, the whole room went silent and almost everyone’s eyes could not help but rest on Yu Ning.

Ji Mingxia saw this and almost lost his smile.

Having a boyfriend who was too good looking was a sweet annoyance ~( ̄ ̄)~.

Yu Ning saw Ji Mingxia turn his face away and hurriedly held Ji Mingxia a little tighter and whispered to him, “Don’t be nervous.”

“I’m not nervous.” Ji Mingxia said.

He knew all the people here, they were all old acquaintances, so there was no need to be nervous.

However, when Grandma Ji, as the officiant, folded their hands together to complete the ceremony, Ji Mingxia’s heart started pounding.

He couldn’t help but whisper to Yu Ning, “Yu Ning, I’m married to you.”

Yu Ning was looking at him intently, “We’re married.”

“Then we’ll be together in the future.” Ji Mingxia said.

Yu Ning lowered his head and kissed him gently.

“We’ll be together forever.”

  35. Nox says:

AAAAA TRANSLATOR I AM REALLY GRATEFUL. I was in expecting a cheap read but then ended up finishing it with a warm and full heart. I thought I would abandon this since this is usually the case when I pick up novels that are really easy on the brain in nature, but it ended up pulling me in until the end. Have to admit the mc definitely make me want to shake his body and scream what was going on in that brain of his to not be able to make a simple connection, but I still read to figure out more about the world itself. I was kind of dissapointed that it was not fleshed out further and ended abruptly, but I still enjoy it. Thank you for your perseverance on translating this since I know that it couldn’t be easy. I wish you luck in your everyday endeavours and your future projects from the bottom of my heart translator!
